Thank you! We want to take a minute and thank everyone who participated in the 16th Annual Rhode Island Public Works Association Indoor Expo.
Held at Wright's Farm on February 6th, over 600 people attended! A record year!
- We had 30 exceptional raffle prizes.
- The educational seminars were well attended.
- The food drive was a great success.
- The special raffle was well received! (10 departments will receive $100 from RIPWA to use toward any vendor that participated in the expo).

Question of the Week
Has any community used geotexiles (ex.: Tencate Mirafli MPV, Tensar GLASPAVE, Owens Corning TruPave, etc) for pavement overlay projects? If so, how did you determine which product was acceptable and was the product used curb-to-curb or selectively used in areas of poor pavement.

Mission
The mission of the Rhode Island Public Works Association is to support high quality training and educational opportunities for the Public Works community in Rhode Island, to represent the interests of the Public Works community to the general public as well as federal, state and local government bodies and agencies and to provide a forum to public works employees for the exchange of ideas and technical information that is helpful to them in conducting their daily duties and responsibilities.
