The City of Warwick would like to know which communities use a web-based weather service? Warwick has used DTN in the past and are currently looking for other options.

Narragansett: Yes, Precision Weather. We like it very much, receive reports by fax, email an phone app. Meteorologist also call you direct before a major storm to give detail report of your area and answer any questions you may have about forecast.
Portsmouth: No, we use Right Weather, there is a fee of $1,100 for the winter and we do like it.
we also have our School facility Director and EMA that get the updates per email and texts for our area, this is included in the cost
Coventry: Yes, We receive daily weather reports from Precision Weather Service. We have been using them for the past 4 years and are happy with the service. This information is also shared daily with the school department.
Pawtucket: Yes, We are using Precision Weather. We receive our reports by fax, email, and we also use their app on our devices. We've also contacted them on the phone and they are always very helpful with information to answer our questions.
Tiverton: Yes, DPW uses The Weather Channel which is, of course, included in our internet fee. We do not know, but it is our understanding that the Fire Dept subscribes to a paid service.
