Proper Procedures to report issues and make requests on RIDOT roadways
- For issues that require immediate response, please call the 24/7 RIDOT Transportation Management Center (TMC) at (401)222-2378. The TMC will dispatch the appropriate RIDOT personnel and log the issue into RIDOT’s computer maintenance management system for tracking.
- For general issues or requests, please call or email the RIDOT Customer Service Office at (401)222-2450 or dot.customerservice@dot.ri.gov. The Customer Service Office will log the issue or request into RIDOT’s computer maintenance management system for tracking and assign to the appropriate RIDOT group for action and follow-up.
RIDOT understand that many DPWs have great relationships and often coordinate directly with their district facilities. They support these relationships and coordination, and in these instances they need the DPWs to follow up with the above procedures so there is official tracking please.
